I plan to use my 37.5 km run at Sunday's Bangalore Ultra as a fund-raising opportunity for a small alternative school on the outskirts of Bangalore in southern India -- Centre For Learning.

The school (where my children study) depends in part on donor support for its capital expenses and outreach programs that involve working with children from the neighboring villages.
My goal is to try and raise at least 1,000 Indian rupees ($23 approx.) for every kilometer I run toward the school's corpus.
